Medicross Jimboomba is a modern, state of the art doctor’s surgery. Medicross’ core business is to provide quality comprehensive healthcare to our patients with the focus on quality medicine and excellent client services.
Conveniently situated within a shopping complex alongside a radiology clinic, Medicross Jimboomba serves as a pivotal healthcare hub in a rapidly expanding area where urban and rural landscapes intersect. Joining our team at Jimboomba ensures you’ll have the backing of a full-time practice manager, registered nurses, receptionists and a diverse range of allied health professionals. Additionally, the facility boasts an in-house pathology service for patient convenience. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and fully computerised operations, Medicross Jimboomba is committed to delivering outstanding healthcare experiences.
ROLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attending individual patients and assessing, advising and making legible records of the assessment and management of the patients.
- Providing skilled health assessment and treatment by diagnosing patients to determine the nature of disorders and illnesses.
- Ordering diagnostic tests and clinical examinations and conducting procedures in accordance with the practice’s procedure.
- Interpreting findings to assist diagnosis followed by prescribing medications and administering treatments. Monitor progress and patients’ response to treatment.
- Refer patients appropriately to specialist practitioners, organise hospital admissions, or refer them to other health providers.
- Monitoring patient’s overall health by advising them on diet, exercise and treatment of disease and disorders.
- Maintaining, recording, and exchanging medical information with other relevant providers.
- Reporting births, deaths and notifiable diseases to the relevant government or agencies in accordance with the health policies.
- Attending medical team meetings and actively participating in the review and development of the professional standards of the medical team.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE
- Must be a registered Medical Practitioner with the skills and qualifications acceptable to the applicable Medical Boards and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- At least 5 years’ experience in general practice/general medicine.
- Must hold the FRACGP certificate.

WHAT’S ON OFFER:
- Up to 70% of billings and/or a minimum of $250,000.00 per annum
- Full-time registered nurse, practice manager, receptionists, and allied health staff.
- Full clinical autonomy to practice medicine the way you wish.
- Good patient following and scope to build own specialisation.
