Many of you know Jemma Lunson, our Practice Manager at Medicross Coomera has recently received the heartbreaking news of a cancer diagnosis at just 29 years old. Jemma is a valued member of our Medicross family, and we want to be able to support her through this incredibly challenging time.

As many of you know, having a plan in place in the event of your death or incapacity is critically important. We as medical practitioners often find ourselves looking after others and delaying putting our own interests in place.
Take some time to consider whether you have a current and appropriate estate plan in place which achieves your objectives if you die or lose capacity. An appropriate estate planning strategy should deal with your personal assets, but it should also contemplate your superannuation member benefit, life insurance and any interests you may have in related trusts or companies. Seamless succession is vital.
